Patchings Art Festival this year was a resounding success, despite the unpredictable weather. The revamped layout of the festival surpassed expectations, creating a seamless flow and an inviting open atmosphere.
One of the highlights of our presence at Patchings was the introduction of the new Rosa artist watercolours. These exceptional watercolours, available in both full pans and 10ml tubes, hail from Ukraine. Our artist, Linda, had the pleasure of engaging with attendees and sharing her expertise on the qualities and benefits of these artist-grade watercolours. Visitors were captivated by the vibrancy and strength of the pigment present in this remarkable range.
In addition to the Rosa watercolours, we have been long-time advocates of Caran D’ache, the Swiss brand renowned for their superior range of pencils. From their permanent color pencils to water-soluble options and even pastel pencils, we proudly showcased their remarkable selection.
This year’s festival drew an impressive crowd and the public thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic atmosphere. The diverse lineup of demonstrations, talented artists, skilled crafters, and reputable retailers created an unforgettable experience. While the event was shortened compared to previous years, excluding the quieter Sunday, this adjustment was logical and allowed for a more concentrated and focused event duration.
Overall, Patchings Festival proved to be a remarkable gathering for artists and art enthusiasts alike, cementing its reputation as a premier event in the art world. We are already looking forward to Patchings 2024!
