Mr Leicester – Gadsby’s helps local artist

by Feb 23, 2017Shop News

In January Mr Leicester (Leicester Mercury) featured Gadsby’s in an article about how the Leicester framing, restoration and arts & craft supply business has survived and prospered for over 100 years. A local artist saw the piece and contacted the Mercury who have now written a follow-up piece (Local artist chuffed by inspiring support of family shop) about the support Gadsby’s have given to him and other successful local artists too.

Gadsby’s have been involved with many successful Leicester artists over the years (and a number who haven’t received quite as much public acclaim for their work). Peter Gadsby, Managing Director, continues the relationship with local artists and is one of the favoured speakers at some of the local artists groups and workshops around the county.

Many thanks to Michael Clark for getting in touch with the Mercury and telling his story. All the staff at Gadsby’s, and their current clients, appreciate reading about how the business makes a difference to people’s lives.
