Framing a 9 ft wide map
Not all picture framing jobs are the same.
The vast majority of the work our framing team performs would fit within the description of ‘normal size’. Sometimes, we get something to frame which is out of the ordinary.
This map, which when framed was 9ft wide, was one example of an out-size framing job. The trick is to custom make the frame to show off the map but not to make it so heavy that industrial fixings are needed to hang it.
The client was very happy with this when we delivered it to him. It had to be delivered in our van to ensure it wasn’t damaged in transit.
