“June saw our first ICHF exhibition for this year, the ‘Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts’ Show held at Birmingham NEC. This was also the first show collaboration with Peter Gadsby who will be managing the stand over 5 different events. This new relationship is beneficial to both parties – Peter can sell a wide variety of uni-ball product on the stand, and has years of craft show experience. Which enables us to maintain a presence at the ICHF show and benefit from valuable customer insight, whilst making the best use of staffing resource. Once again, we brought our Posca van on the stand which created a lot of attention from the passing crowd.
We continued to offer workshop ‘make ‘n take’ demonstrations – with timed sessions throughout the day. These were hosted by artist Ella Johnston, who has a wealth of expertise in the art & craft sector. Ella led the make ‘n take workshops demonstrating Posca with a glass votive project.
To support the workshop activity an exclusive show pack was available to buy. The show pack enabled the end user to work with different pens and use various techniques. The pack contained; product, templates, project sheets plus a glass votive. These packs proved extremely popular, and will be available to buy at the rest of the shows.”
